InSight  Mindfulness Center
The Insight Stress Reduction Program:

InSight Stress Reduction is an eight-week long group program patterned after Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.  It is designed to assist you in taking better care of yourself and to encourage an active and dynamic response to chronic illness, pain or other stressors in your life.
Positive results from participation in the group require a strong commitment to working on yourself through gentle daily discipline of meditation and relaxation over the eight week span.  The program is offered in eight-week cycles throughout the year.


Participants may self-refer or be referred by their physician or other health or mental health professional.  
The InSight Stress Reduction program may also be tailored to specific group or business needs.


Conditions which may lead to referral include:  
  • Heart Disease
  • Chronic Pain
  • Headaches including migraines
  • Gastrointestinal problems such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome
  • Diabetes
  • Cancer
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Anxiety and Panic
  • Life Transitions including divorce, menopause, retirement
  • Job or Family Stress
  • Sleep Problems
  • Depression
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Arthritis
  • Fatigue
  • Skin Disorders
  • Post-traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Obesity
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Recovering chemical dependency/Relapse prevention
